Inmates are allowed to make collect calls, from public phones located in the institutions, to up to 20 authorized telephone numbers (5 while he/she is at the Reception and Evaluation Center). He/she must follow these procedures to obtain approval for each phone number: complete Telephone Privilege Request; obtain a Personal identification Number (PIN); and provide first page of the telephone bill of the person to be called. Institutional telephone coordinators help inmates with these procedures.
